About us
Lajos Pálvölgyi is the founder, co-owner and managing director of PROJECON Ltd. He is a program and project manager, project director, consultant and trainer with decades of professional experience abroad and in Hungary, holding the PMI Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification. He started his career as a researcher in the Pedagogical Research Group of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and later became a research fellow at the Institute of Psychology of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. He holds a doctorate from the Eötvös Loránd University. After 1982, he was involved in various IT projects at Digital Equipment GmbH in Germany, where he later became head of project management training.
Between 1997 and 2005, he was the responsible manager of several large key projects of Matáv Rt. Since 2009 he has mainly provided project management and data protection consulting services to Magyar Telekom Plc. He was Vice President of the Hungarian Project Management Association from 2005 to 2009, and founding member and Vice President of the Project Management Institute (PMI) Hungarian Chapter from 2003 to 2017. For many years, he has been an invited lecturer and trainer at several leading adult education institutions abroad and in Hungary.
He is the editor of several project management textbooks published by Akadémiai Kiadó, including the editing of the "Project Management Guide" (PMBOK® Guide Hungarian version) and the head of the localisation project in 2006, as well as project manager and translator in 2013 and co-translator in 2019. Editor, proofreader and author of numerous other presentations and publications. Founder of the Student Project Competition. Founding Chairman of the Project Pedagogy Section of the Hungarian Pedagogical Society. Member of the Research Group on Higher Education and Innovation, Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology, ELTE Eötvös Loránd University. His research interests include project-based learning especially in digital environments, educational innovation and career education.

Kornél Nagy is co-owner and managing director of PROJECON Ltd. He started his career as business analyst at ExxonMobil in 2006 and became project manager within 2 years. Introducing new technologies to the organization, ERP upgrades, plant information systems replacement in 60+ production plants as a few examples. In 2014 he moved to a mid-size Hungarian software development company, leading finance application development (mostly collateral management). 2016 moved to Telco - Vodafone Group as program manager and later the manager of the 45+ Enterprise Product team.
He became PMP, in 2013, PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner) in 2017, and he's accredited PMI trainer (ATP) since 2021. He was the editor of the Hungarian edition of PMI's Agile Practice Guide, member of PMI and PMSZ, had delivered number of presentations an speeches on HPE and PMSZ forums. He's SAFe SPC, accredited SAFe Program Consultant. Finally- also accredited trainer of Peoplecert which enables him to deliver ITIL courses.
As trainer and consultant he led agile transformation programs, he has international (USA, Anglia, India, Poland) training experience as well. He led workshops for large enterprises as well - workshops to choose the best ways of working SAFe, LESS, DA.
