International PMI certifications

PMP® from the list above is the world's most appreciated project management certificate, that proves not only textual but applied knowledge with number of years experience. It's a clear competitive advantage for the individual, and also for the organization. In the United States salaries of PMP® certified PMs average 16% higher. It is not an IT certificate, however compared to even those its significant. A Global Knowledge Training LLC mad a survey and published in a list of the highes paid jobs with IT certificates in 2012. PMP® was the winner (the other two don't belong to PMI®). First three of the list are:
1. PMP® (Project Management Professional)
2. CISSP® (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
3. CCDA® (Cisco Certified Design Associate)
Globally over 1,5 million, in Hungary over 500 professional hold the certificate (2023).

PMP® exam preparation

PREREQUISITES: depending on the candidate's educational background: Barchelor degree need 4.500 hours of project management experience, which is 3 years in the past 8 years. Higs school graduates need 7.500 hours of project management experience, which is 3 years in the past 8 years. Both cases require: 35 net ("contact") hours of relevant training (covering all domains of the ECO -Exam Contant Outline) participation, and a successful PMP exam (CBT - computer based testing, 180 questions, 230 minutes). The obtained certificate is valid for 3 years and can be renewed by collecting 60 PDUs (Professional Development Unit). 
TRAINING: we provide customized exam preparation training/workshop for even small groups (2-3 participants) as well. Depending on former trainings and current needs 2-5 days. We review and understand the Pmbok relevant domains, the PMP ECO , tips and tricks for the exam and review the applicatin process. In our experience vast majority of the participans pass first attempt, all domains above average. The exam can be taken in Pearson Vue test centers as well as virtual proctored from anywhere.

CAPM® exam preparation

PREREQUISITES: similar, but lot easier than PMP®. The exam is shortes and slighlty easier than the PMP®, 150 questions, 3 hours. High school diploma required, 1.500 hours project experience, OR 23 net ("contact") hours of relevant training (covering all domains of the ECO -Exam Contant Outline) participation. The certificate can be similarly maintained ny collecting PDUs.
